What is AnVil?
Summary
AnViL stands for Asset and Video Live.
The AnViL SDK is a complete solution for content storage, magangement, streaming and transcoding. Our 2 part system allows you to fully video-enable any website or online community.
The first part of our soloution is the rich Content Management System (CMS). In the CMS, each user has control over their content and can utilize folder-based file organization to create, edit, delete and move folders of content in a Media Vault. The content itself can also be moved or deleted, and the CMS offers the user playbck capabilities for previewing or enjoying content. These user accounts can be easily created, edited or deleted by the administrator.
Once a user uploads media to their Media Vault, the media can be sent to the second part of our solution: the transcoding engine. The transcoding engine allows media to be transcoded to and from the following video and audio formats: Supported Media Formats
When a file is transcoded, the resulting copy of the file is stored in the users' Media Vault along with the original copy. Files can also be transcoded into multiple fomats and profiles simultaniously, allowing for fast publication to mobile devices, podcast feeds and the web.
